The film is based on the true story of the Jesus movement and includes stories of young men who convert to Christianity after encountering Frisbee and Smith.

What is it about: Angel Original “The Chosen” is a series about the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus (Jonathan Romey). It is a historical drama that tells stories from the New Testament. Miracles such as Jesus walking on water are included in the series.

“miracles from heaven”
What is it about: Anna Beam (Kylie Rogers) falls ill and undergoes serious treatment. She falls out of a tree and is unharmed from the fall, much to the surprise of her parents Christy Beam (Jennifer Garner) and Kevin Beam (Martin Henderson). Then her illness stops affecting her and her parents believe it is a miracle story.

What is it about: The Shiloh Christian Academy Eagles held their losing streak for several years. Head coach Grant Taylor (Alex Kendrick) is down on his bad luck and looking for a fix for the team’s losing streak. Taylor and the team thankfully start out on the court and everything changes.

“Unbroken: The Path to Redemption”
What is it about: Former Olympian and World War II soldier Louis Zamperini (Samuel Hunt) is a prisoner of war. He comes home with PTSD and his life becomes difficult until he meets Billy Graham. Zamperini develops faith in Jesus.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
What is it about: Four children (Alexander Keynes, Anna Popplewell, Georgie Henley and William Moseley) move out of their home and into a mysterious mansion. Through the wardrobe, they enter the world of Narnia and meet the lion Aslan (Liam Neeson). The film is considered a Christian allegory.

What is it about: Paul (James Faulkner) used to persecute Christians, but then turned to faith in himself on the road to Damascus. This biographical film deals with Paul’s upbringing, conversion, and subsequent missionary missions and imprisonment.

What is it about: When C.S. Lewis converted to Christianity due to the influence of friends such as JRR Tolkien, he referred to himself as “the most reluctant convert”. This film is a biopic of Lewis, and deals with key moments in his life, including his relationship with Floria Lewis (Amy Alexander) and Tolkien (Tom Glenister).

What is it about: A group of teenage Latter-day Saints go on a wheelbarrow ride. It is a comedy full of bickering and pranks as well as some spiritual experiences that the characters go through during the journey.

What is it about: Investigative reporter Lee Strobel (Mike Vogel) is working crime-fighting for the Chicago Tribune when his wife, Leslie Strobel (Erika Christensen), starts attending a Christian church. Lee Strobel decides to write about the historical evidence for Jesus’ resurrection with the intent of disproving it. Then it is subject to conversion.
