A police car exploded near a bridge in Pakistan, killing three people

A bomb exploded near the Jalala Bridge in the province's Mardan city, killing at least three people and injuring five. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan border with Afghanistan Located in the northwest of the country.

Dhahoor Babar Afridi, the area police officer, told reporters that the explosion occurred yesterday when a police vehicle drove across the bridge and tried to target police officers, killing three people and injuring five others, including a policeman, a woman and a child.

The rescue department said that ambulances and medical teams immediately arrived at the scene of the accident and transferred the dead and injured to a local hospital. The police began collecting evidence at the scene and investigating the accident.

A day earlier on Thursday, a bomb attack in the Bajaur tribal region killed five people, including a former senator.
