Italy qualified for Euro 2024 in Germany | Sports

The Italian national team had a goalless draw with the Ukrainian host team in the final round of the third group qualifiers in Leverkusen, Germany, and officially qualified for the European Cup of Nations (2024 European Cup) finals in Germany.
In another match in the same group, England drew 1-1 with host North Macedonia.
The England team ranked first in the third group with 20 points before this round and has guaranteed promotion to the European Championship; the Italian team ranked second with 14 points and directly faced the top-ranked Ukraine team. Third, North Macedonia ranked fourth with 8 points, Malta ranked third, and the last place returned without success.
At the Todobrowski Stadium, North Macedonia took the lead in the 41st minute through Enes Bardi’s goal, before England responded with a goal from all-time top scorer Harry Kane in the 59th minute.

The Azzurri need just one draw to advance to Euro 2024 and defend their title in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. They defeated Ukraine 2-1 at home on September 12.
Italy won the previous edition of the tournament in 2021, beating England on penalties at home.
Czech Republic and Slovenia advance
In Group E, the Czech national team defeated the visiting Moldova national team 3-0 and officially advanced to the 2024 European Cup finals.
In another match in the same group, Albania drew 0-0 against the Faroe Islands.
The Albanian national team secured qualification for Euro 2024 with a 15-point lead before this round, while the Czech national team joined them in the continental championship and finished second in a direct confrontation with Albania.
Poland ranks third with 11 points, Moldova ranks fourth with 10 points, and the Faroe Islands rank last with 2 points.
In the eighth group, the Slovenia national team defeated the visiting Kazakhstan national team 2-1 and officially advanced to the European Nations Cup finals.
In the remaining games of the group stage, the Northern Ireland team defeated the visiting Denmark team with two goals, and the Finnish national team also defeated the host San Marino national team 2-1.
The Danish team ranked first in the group with 22 points before this round, leading the second-placed Slovenia team in a direct confrontation, and the Finnish team ranked third with 18 points. They are nine points behind fourth-placed Kazakhstan and nine points behind fourth-placed Ireland. Fifth, San Marino is still at the bottom of the standings without scoring a single point.
