Ohio State, Nebraska, and Minnesota claim their first Volleyball Weekly honors for 2023
Rosemont, Illinois (2 August).8, 2023) – The Big Ten Conference has announced its first weekly volleyball awards of the season for the week of August 21-27.
Offensive Player of the Week
Emily Lundot, Ohio State
Father – Outside Hitter – Utica, Ohio – Utica – Specialization: Sports Industry
- She posted 5.18 kills/set, 1.73 digs/set and a team best 0.73 set/set in helping lead the #14 Buckeyes to a perfect 3-0 weekend at the NKU Invitational, where she earned All-Tournament Team honors.
- She posted her first double-double of the season with 26 kills and 10 holes in a win over Bowling Green
- He moved into the top 20 in Ohio in career kills (15y) and counted 700y dig profession

Defensive Player of the Week
Kylie Moore, Minnesota
love. – Libero – Yorktown, Indiana – Yorktown – Major: Master’s in Sports Management
- Averaged 5.71 dig/set to win Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge All-Tournament Team recognition, plus Best Libero award
- Posted 13 holes, eight assists and two aces in the No. 7 Gophers sweep of No. 15 Baylor
- He recorded 27 digs, seven assists, and an ace in the four-set win over TCU
