The Telluride Film Festival, a key part of the fall festival that kicks off awards season and perhaps some of the main Oscar contenders, has announced a wide lineup of films for its landmark 50th edition. The festival kicks off Thursday and runs through Labor Day and will feature the world premiere of Oscar-winner Alexander Payne’s film Retainers (Focus Features), Emerald Vinyl Saltburn (Amazon) and Free solo Narrative feature by filmmakers Elizabeth Chai Vasarheli and Jimmy Chin Naiad (Netflix).
