The Croatian national team defeated the visiting team Armenia with a goal in the fourth round of group qualifying today and officially qualified for the European Cup of Nations (2024 European Cup) finals in Germany.
In another match in the same group, Wales drew 1-1 away from Turkey.
The Croatian national team participates in Euro 2024 alongside Turkey, who claimed the continental title as leaders of Group Four ahead of the promotion period.
Turkey ranks first in Group D with 17 points, one point ahead of Croatia, Wales ranks third with 12 points, Armenia ranks fourth with 8 points, and Latvia is last with 3 points.
At the Maksimir Stadium, the Croatian national team secured qualification for the 2024 European Cup with a 43rd-minute goal from Osasuna striker Ante Budimir against Armenia.

At Cardiff City Stadium, Nico Williams scored for Wales in the 7th minute, and Jusuf Yaziq equalized for Turkey through a penalty kick in the 70th minute.
After Croatia advances, 21 teams will be eligible to participate in the 2024 European Cup in Germany, including the first and second-place teams in the ten groups outside the host Germany. There are still 3 seats left for the teams to compete for next year’s 3rd place. Play-offs held in March.
