Provo, Utah – The arrival of BYU Football Week means it’s time to put together the first official depth chart for the season.
BYU released its Week 1 depth chart for Sam Houston’s upcoming game on Monday. He is BYU’s first depth charter as a member of the Big 12 Conference.

Expectations are low for BYU entering its first season in the Big 12. But analytics and speculation say BYU should win decisively Saturday night in Week 1 against FBS newcomer Sam Houston (8:15 p.m., FS1, KSL NewsRadio).
BYU doesn’t take the Bearkats lightly as they enter the game with a national championship pedigree, having won the FCS title in the spring of 2021.
To prepare for the season opener, BYU released its first official depth chart for the 2023 season.
