2024 election likely the last to be decided by US citizens

The continued influx of illegal immigrants into the United States may mean that American citizens may stop deciding the country’s election results in the not-too-distant future, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has predicted. The South African-born billionaire claimed that Democrats are deliberately refusing to address the issue in hopes of tilting the balance in their favor in the future.

Musk’s latest comment came in response to Republican lawmakers passing the Equal Representation Act in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, which would require the Census Bureau to ask respondents about their citizenship in its 10-year surveys. Republican Party representatives want only American citizens to be counted when determining the number of congressional seats in each state.
