The TV star celebrated her birthday on Tuesday. Kourtney took to social media to acknowledge this milestone.

The brunette wrote on Instagram: “I feel free. 28, I needed you (tears emoji) You pushed me to be a stronger woman.

The star – who split from director Chris Sheng in July – shared, “I’m living at 29 very independently in my place, on my own – for the first time in my life.”

“I have so much gratitude in my soul and tremendous excitement for what’s to come. I’m going to wrap up my 20s with only boss moves and extras that make me happy (wink and party emojis).”

Famously, she was only 16 years old when she married Doug Hutchinson, who is now 63.

Kourtney and Chris Sheng split in July.

The TV star and director ended their engagement, with a rep revealing that Kourtney had intended to publicly discuss their split.

“Courtney is now a single woman,” the actor told the New York Post’s Page Six column. “She’s looking forward to telling her story.”

Kourtney – who is non-binary – had gotten engaged to Chris in 2021, when we announced the news on social media.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Kourtney said at the time: “I said yeah… oh and the ring made me puke, it’s so pretty (sic).”

Chris also deleted his engagement post from Instagram.

“Both of us have evolved so much since we first met, the fact that we’ve been able to grow to be better, stronger and safer individuals while we’re still in a relationship together,” the 43-year-old director wrote at the time. It makes me believe that this partnership will last a lifetime.

Kourtney – who is non-binary – has been engaged to Chris since 2021, when we announced the news on social media.

She married Hutchison in 2011, when the reality TV star was just 16 and he was 51.

However, she has filed for divorce in 2018.

“I’m a really empathetic and sensitive person, and I always have been,” the TV star told Fox News afterward.
