South Africa's action comes as Israel's ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip has killed more than 21,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, since October 7 last year.

Israel believes that South Africa's claim “lacks factual and legal basis and constitutes a despicable and insulting insult to the court.”

Israel's Foreign Ministry said, “South Africa is cooperating with a terrorist organization that calls for the destruction of the State of Israel.”

Israel's Foreign Ministry accuses Islamic Resistance Movement (agitation) has committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, and has expressed responsibility for the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Israel called on the International Court of Justice and the international community to “completely reject South Africa's baseless accusations.”
