Story of a Palestinian woman shot dead by an Israeli sniper despite holding a white flag
The young man, Mohamed Khrais, told the story of his mother, Hala Abdel Ati, who was martyred at the hands of an Israeli sniper, even though she walked with a white flag in one hand and a Holding her grandson in her arms, she traveled with civilians to an area described as “safe” by the occupiers.
A video clip showing the woman falling to the ground after being hit by a sniper's bullet sparked widespread human rights interaction.
