The Morning After: Atari’s new mini-console powers 2600 and 7800 game consoles

Atari is releasing yet another old home console, after its latest attempt. The Atari 2600+ pays homage to the original Atari 2600, which came out in 1977, but this new version emulates the four-key model from 1980. (Of course, we’ll talk specific).

The console has been beautifully recreated with the same specifications as the original but is only 80 percent of its size. Additional features of the console are HDMI output and wide screen support. It’ll have 10 titles in the box, but Atari fans will want to track down the physical cartridges if they want to play the hits of the era, like pac man or impasse! The mini console also contains a remanufactured Atari CX40 joystick. The Atari 2600+ will launch worldwide on November 17th for $130, and pre-orders are already open. From cartridge games to ray tracing. NVIDIA has unveiled a community led Half-Life 2 RTX: The RTX Remix Project Which, as the name suggests, will remake the classic shooter for PCs with GeForce RTX graphics. Not only is the team adding ray tracing technology, but it’s an effort to update the overall look and feel of the game.

The ray tracing lights are the main attraction, of course, but the mods also use an early version of RTX Remix to add extra detail to the model (via Valve’s Hammer editor) and rework textures with physical rendering properties. The RTX port, so far, looks much more moody and much more detailed, with the light sources bouncing and diffusing in a much more realistic way. Existing RTX conversions, such as those for outlet And second earthquake, Beautiful, but limited either by the age of the game or by its relative scale. Half life 2 It’s a much bigger challenge.

according to luckX (formerly Twitter) plans to implement major changes to the way shared articles appear on the Tweet, by removing their text elements and leaving only their header images with a URL overlay. Musk confirmed the upcoming change, saying it came directly from him, adding that it would greatly improve the “aesthetics.” It’s the latest big change, following the news that the user’s ban will end soon. Microsoft is significantly restructuring its Activision Blizzard merger proposal by selling cloud gaming rights to rival Activision Blizzard games to Ubisoft, I wrote in a blog post late yesterday. This would address the major concerns of UK regulators, who have blocked the deal in part because of Microsoft’s potential dominance in cloud gaming. The UK regulator will now examine the restructured deal and issue a decision by October 18.

Meta will soon be providing stories and clips in chronological order to comply with the European Digital Services Act (DSA). The changes were expected after the European Commission announced that it had agreed in April to create new rules, requiring social media platforms to introduce alternative systems that are “not based on profiling”. Starting later this month, Meta Reels, Stories, Search, and other parts of Facebook and Instagram will be offered unaffected by Meta’s current AI recommendation process.
