Hovland retook control of the tournament with a 16th-minute burst to take a five shot lead until the end, sprinting off the sand to eight feet high and paring Schavel’s birdie to seal the victory in style.

Clark birdied two of his last three holes to finish the week at 16-under, while McIlroy mixed a seven-birdie with two bogeys on the final day to take a final round 65, and former FedExCup champ Patrick Cantley rounded out the top five with a shutout 66.
