Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann quarreled over finances before filing for divorce: report

A huge battle over finances has prompted Kroy Biermann to file for divorce from Kim Zolciak for the second time, according to a report.

“They got ridiculously petty about who didn’t pay the bills,” a source told the outlet. “They’re counting down to pennies.”

Furthermore, TMZ alleged that Berman, 37, was regularly threatening to file for divorce after they reconciled in July.

News broke of their second divorce filing on Thursday, three months after the first, with the retired athlete describing their marriage as “irrevocably broken” in new papers.

Berman seeks sole legal and physical custody of his four minor children: Kroy Jr, 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaya and Kane, 9.

He is also seeking child support and alimony from the 45-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta, as well as exclusive use of their marital residence.

Whispers have been circulating about the pair’s dire financial situation for months. An insider previously told Page Six that tensions are running high due to mounting financial difficulties behind closed doors.

Not only was their mansion under foreclosure earlier this year, but news of their split came along with reports alleging they owed the IRS more than $1 million.

The couple filed for divorce in May, and the news swept social media with the end of their 11-year marriage.

What ensued was an ugly exchange of allegations, with Berman claiming that Courage was a gambling addict and requesting a psychiatric evaluation.

He claimed that she had “financially destroyed their family” and provided the court with copies of bank statements and checks that allegedly showed withdrawals of thousands of dollars.

He continued to insist that their children needed protection from Zolciak after she was allegedly “abusive” towards him.

During their marriage, Berman legally adopted Zolciak’s daughters from a previous relationship: Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21.

For her part, Zolciak He accused Berman of “emotional and mental abuse” for many years and claimed he was “constantly spreading lies in an effort to paint her as an unfit mother for his own gain”.
