Knifeman apprehended outside Moscow shopping mall — RT World News
Police arrested a man carrying a knife near a shopping center in a residential area in southeastern Moscow on Sunday, local media reported.
Eyewitnesses told Mash Telegram that the man was making circular movements outside the Mary Shopping Center in the Marino area and threatening passers-by, including children, with death.
Citizens called the police and reported the man’s aggressive behavior. The outlet said officers quickly arrived at the site and arrested the rioters.
She added that police officers also searched the man’s car and discovered a gun in the glove compartment.
According to the SHOT Telegram channel, the suspect has been identified as 42-year-old Alexander L., a resident of the capital.
The reasons for men’s aggressive behavior are still unclear. There were no reports of anyone being injured at the scene.
