The scenes included Qassam militants helping a child and woman move and get into a Red Cross vehicle. One of the Qassam militants held an old woman in his hands and put her into the international organization’s car.

The scene also showed an Israeli detainee saluting into the camera, with the handover taking place in the presence of Palestinian citizens near Qassam and Red Cross vehicles.

Earlier on Friday evening, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid Ansari said the International Red Cross had received 24 civilians detained in the Gaza Strip.

Ansari explained that those released included 13 Israelis, 10 Thais and one Filipino.

A Qatari spokesman noted that the release of Thai citizens and Filipinos was outside the scope of the truce agreement between Israel and Hamas and “they are leaving Gaza together with the Red Cross.”
