Trump compares Biden administration to Nazis — RT World News

The former US president announced that resorting to “Gestapo” tactics is the only way Joe Biden can win the November elections.

Donald Trump accused the administration of US President Joe Biden of descending to the level of the Nazi secret police to prevent him from winning this year's elections.

“These people run the Gestapo.” The former US president told Republican donors at an event in Florida on Saturday, according to audio recordings shared with several national media outlets. “And that's the only thing they have. And that's the only way they're going to win, in their opinion.”

Trump currently faces four criminal cases, including an ongoing trial in New York over alleged misreporting of “hush money” payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. In addition to the New York case, the former president and the presumptive Republican nominee to challenge Biden next November faces two federal cases related to his alleged incitement of the January 6, 2021 riot on Capitol Hill, and his alleged mishandling of classified documents. He also faces statewide racketeering charges in Georgia over his supposed efforts to challenge Biden's 2020 electoral win in the state.

Trump has portrayed all four cases as part of the same conspiracy hatched by Democrats to knock him out of the race for the White House. Over the course of nearly three weeks, the trial in New York effectively halted Trump's campaign, forcing the embattled Republican to mostly abandon his usual rallies for shorter speeches on the courthouse steps.

“But it doesn't bother me” Trump continued. “If you care too much, you tend to suffocate. And somehow, I don't care. It's just that you know that life is life.”

However, Trump launched a blistering attack against Attorney General Jack Smith, who is overseeing the two federal cases against him. Trump said Smith is “Unattractive inside and out” He is “unhinged,” And “An evil serial killer.”

Saturday was not the first time that Trump compared Biden to tyrants of the twentieth century. In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Texas earlier this year, he denounced the policy “Stalinist show trials are being conducted on Joe Biden’s orders.” In one campaign ad last year, Biden was described as A “Corrupt Third World Dictator.”

Trump, on the other hand, said he would be “dictator” For one day if elected, he will use executive orders to resume American fossil fuel extraction and deport millions of illegal immigrants.

Saturday's event was attended by a group of potential Trump running mates, including South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem. According to the New York Times, Trump's speech was followed by a briefing in which his top campaign aides presented the states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Virginia as key battlegrounds in the November elections.

They pointed out that although his campaign spends less than Biden, Trump is currently ahead of the Democrat in most opinion polls. A CNN poll last week showed him leading Biden by a 49%-43% margin, with six in ten respondents disapproving of Biden's performance as president.
