US President Joe Biden and his main rival, former President Donald Trump, will dominate their primaries across the United States on Tuesday, according to projections from multiple news agencies.

The vote taking place in several states on March 5 is crucial to determining who Democrats and Republicans will officially nominate as candidates for the presidential elections in November.

According to Reuters, Trump comfortably won Republican challenges in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. His last remaining Republican challenger — former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley — currently has a narrow lead over Trump in Vermont, CNN reported.

Trump celebrated his victory on Tuesday evening, pledging to unite the country. He added: “We have a great Republican Party with tremendous talent and we want to have unity, and we will have unity, and it will happen very quickly.” He said in a speech in Palm Beach, Florida.
