US Central Command announced on Saturday that the US and the UK carried out a series of joint air and naval strikes against at least 36 targets in 13 locations across Yemen.
The joint operation was carried out using Tomahawk missiles launched from US Navy ships, and F/A-18 fighter bombers launched from the aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower. US Central Command said the raid was targeted “Multiple underground storage facilities, command and control, missile systems, and storage and operations sites for drones, radars, and helicopters.”
