Apple Insider rejects red iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro launch models

Apple’s iPhone 15 hardware changes to the point of public knowledge at this point, but mystery still surrounds two elements: price and finish. And the latter took another interesting twist.
After last month’s eye-catching comments, the ever-reliable insider at Apple Unknownz21 It provided me with new information about the iPhone 15 line possibly missing its most popular color.
“I’ve been following the evolution of these devices, and there haven’t been any changes in terms of color options. These colors have remained constant — none of them are red,” Unknownz21 explained. “This doesn’t mean there will never be red iPhones in the future or that partnership (Product) Red is coming to an end… (but) I’m not aware of any devices or documents showing or even mentioning any kind of red in any capacity.”
Given that the (red) iPhones have been released every year for the past five generations, this is quite a surprise, even if Apple continues its philanthropic partnership in other areas.
Moreover, the new “hero” color of the iPhone 15 Pro line has long been rumored to be Deep Red, even as the exact Pantone color (which is recreated in the top image) leaked. Unknownz21 promised to reveal the new hero skin publicly soon and give me additional context for the upcoming leak:
As for the 15 Pro’s true color, there are multiple things to confirm its presence, things I’ve seen firsthand. There are fully functional prototypes in this color.

Unknownz21 has a great track record over the past year, revealing accurate information about the iPhone 14 series as well as the Apple Vision Pro headset. The leaker also broke several iPhone 15 details, which were confirmed by other insiders.
Apart from this potential color change, the iPhone 15 lineup is expected to come in four models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The standard models will look similar to last year’s iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, as they adopt the Dynamic Island design, A16 chipset, and 48MP primary camera.
The iPhone 15 Pro models will carry over to the next generation of the 3nm A17 chipset, feature much thinner bezels, a new customizable action button that replaces the mute switch, upgraded cameras (including an exclusive Pro Max periscope lens), upgraded UWB, and possibly higher prices. . All iPhone 15 models will also support USB-C.
Notably, Unknownz21 criticized the new iPhones, describing them as “too mediocre to upgrade.” With Apple iPhone 16 plans for 2024 leaking much earlier than expected, upgraders will have to make a decision.
