Gender discontent is just a phase for most kids, a new study shows. Will transition pushers leave those kids alone? — RT World News

“Progressive” educators seem hell-bent on turning fleeting confusion into irreversible decisions that many will regret.

Thousands of children are likely to regret undergoing gender reassignment surgery, as it has been found that the majority of gender-confused children resolve this confusion by the time they become full adults.

Look anywhere on social media these days and you'll find endless conversations on the subject of young people considering a sex change. These messages come at a critical time in a child's development, and can create tremendous confusion. What was missing from the conversation was how many of these young people eventually grow out of their feelings over time.

One of these teens, Rebecca, was 11 years old when she began identifying as transgender. At the age of thirteen, at an emotionally sensitive time when puberty begins, she breaks the disturbing news to her friends and family. That same year, doctors prescribed her puberty blockers and testosterone. When she was 16, she underwent a double mastectomy. However, less than a year later, she realized she had made a huge mistake.

“I need to open up about my experience” Rebecca told RT via email. “I want others to understand that they don't need to go through the same trauma that I went through.”

At the age of seventeen, Rebecca belongs to a growing number of individuals known as “Deconversion removers” Those who hope to reverse sex reassignment surgery, often after coming to the conclusion that they are comfortable with their biological sex. But the journey back from such harsh medical procedures is never easy, and many young people will suffer for the rest of their lives because of an irreversible decision they made when they were minors.

In the West, the number of minors suffering from gender dysphoria has increased significantly. Between 2009 and 2019, the number of children referred for transitional treatment in the UK rose Has risen 1000% among biological males and 4400% among biological females. In the United States, the number of transgender youth has nearly doubled since 2017, according to a new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finding. a report.

Now, a landmark 15-year study has concluded what this new drug knows “Being transgender” It is, in most cases, just a passing phase for children. Researchers from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands monitored more than 2,700 people from ages 11 to their mid-20s, and questioned them every three years about their feelings about their gender.

At the beginning Stady, published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior, about one in ten children (11 percent) expressed “sexual dissatisfaction” to varying degrees. However, by age 25, only one in 25 (4%) said they were “often” or “sometimes” dissatisfied with their gender, the Daily Mail reported.

The researchers concluded: “The results of the current study may help adolescents realize that it is normal to have some doubts about one's identity and gender identity during this age period and that this is also relatively common.”

Will this revelation slow the rise of sex-tinged lessons in “progressive” Western classrooms? Will teachers stop, look at the data findings, and allow children to enjoy their childhood years before they are introduced to these extreme ideas? Of course, protecting children from messages in the age of social media is almost impossible, and it is natural that questions will arise from some students. So, if teachers feel the need to break through the material on an individual basis (rather than in discussions in front of the whole class), this should be done privately in the company of parents and counselors where children are reassured that they will likely grow out of their mixed feelings over time. But the problem is that the wheels of change have already begun to move, and it is doubtful that they will be reversed any time soon.

In 2022, members of the National Education Association (NEA), the largest teachers union in the United States, laid out ways for teachers to introduce gender pronouns to children starting in pre-K, in a webinar titled “Use pronouns to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.” It is recommended that schools ask students about their preferred pronouns and add LGBTQ+ books to school library shelves.

In light of recent findings, will these approaches be re-evaluated? If doubting their gender identity is just a passing phase for most kids, then pushing hard on ideas of transgenderism and things like gender fluidity seems like a surefire way to exacerbate this phase into full-blown gender dysphoria. This in turn could lead to a sex change operation somewhere down the road that will be largely irreversible.

At the same time, there are other ways in which children are prepared to question their gender identity. Public libraries have gotten in on the action, hosting Drag Queen Story Hours where books filled with sexual innuendo are the main feature and are read by grown men in women's clothing, some of whom are felons Child sex offenders. It's anyone's guess what these lewd exhibitions do to a developing child's psyche, but it's certainly not a good thing. All this proves what is becoming increasingly clear: Western society has become a no-go zone for the most vulnerable sectors of the population, where even religious holidays cannot avoid falling into the transgender net.

Transgender rights were thrust onto the national scene this month after Easter in the US was replaced with Trans Visibility Day. While some accused President Joe Biden of specifically targeting the holiday, the White House later clarified that the awareness day is observed every year on March 31 and coincides with Easter this year only by coincidence.

But couldn't the Biden administration have moved the celebration this year to a different date out of respect for one of the holiest days in Christianity? No one in the United States should expect such miracles to happen any time soon. The madness is there in the saddle as he rides America, and it will likely take more studies to slow down his galloping pace.
