The British “Sun” conducted a simulated draw for the European Cup (2024 European Cup) finals that Germany will host from June 14 to July 14.
British newspapers predicted the best and worst possible scenarios for the England team. The simulation results resulted in the “Three Lions” encountering a difficult confrontation and falling into the “Iron” fourth group for a clash with the England team. Scotland, Türkiye and Italy (last champions).
During this year’s European qualifiers, the “Three Lions” team ranked first in Group C with an unbeaten record and 20 points, qualifying with the second-placed Italian team in the group.

In the last World Cup final, the Italian team drew 1-1 in regular season and overtime and defeated England 3-2 in the penalty shootout.
National team captain Harry Kane and his teammates are hoping to win their country’s first continental title.
According to The Sun, ahead of the official draw scheduled to take place in the German city of Hamburg on December 2, here is a simulation of the group league draw:
- First group: Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic and the qualifiers for Play-off A.
- Second Group: Spain, Albania, Slovakia and Serbia.
- The third group: France, Romania, Slovenia and play-off qualifiers(S).
- Fourth group: England, Türkiye, Scotland and Italy (last champions).
- Group 5: Belgium, Hungary, Croatia and Switzerland.
- The sixth group: Portugal, Australia, Netherlands and Play-off B qualifiers.
The playoff semi-finals will be held on March 21, 2024, and the finals will be held on the 26th of the same month. Twelve teams are vying for the remaining three spots.
